I went to check out the IQ Genius Bar installed in an ambulance. It was exciting to see the final product in use.
The IQ Genius bar contains an integrated RFID reader, RFID antennas, GPS module, high output LED Status Lights, wireless and Ethernet connectivity, and a Linux controller for data processing. A company’s Assets are tagged with UHF RFID Asset Tags that respond with a GPS location when “pinged” by the IQ Genius RFID Bar. Vehicle Inventory is sealed with UHF RFID Cabinet Pull Seals that are validated against the vehicles Sealed Cabinet Inventory. Inventory Bins are tracked by RFID to manage expiration dates, lot numbers and supply usage.
